Eventide has done a kindness to us musicians , especially the guitar players , by introducing this series of affordable high end-pedals . With the H9 , they placed true studio-quality effect algorithms from their classic studio gear into a pedal . Instead of costing thousands , these pedals cost a few hundred and contain those same famous algorithms . The MicroPitch Delay is filled with classic Eventide Pitch shifting technology , with added stereo delays . MicroPitch boasts of “ secret sauce ” widening and cool pitch-shifting paired with independent stereo delays .
OUT OF THE BOX MicroPitch Delay comes with a universal power supply with four AC plug adaptors ready for any country imaginable . Four rubber feet are optional , and a cool Eventide sticker is included . There ' s also a six-panel Quick Reference Guide , and a USB cable .
One of the coolest things I ' ve seen is the five included overlay cutouts that fit over the knobs , with markings for different patches . These make for a quick start .
THE PEDAL The MicroPitch Delay has six knobs on top . Each knob has a dual function .
The Pitch functions are written in white just below the knobs . The secondary delay functions are written in black and are accessed by pushing the small red LED button on the top right . The knobs are as follows : In Primary mode , you have Mix , Pitch A , and Pitch B . On the second row are Depth , Rate / Sens , and Pitch Mix . In Secondary Mode , each knob has a new function . These are Tone , Delay A and Delay B , on the second row , are Mod Type , Feedback and Output Level .
There are two foot switches toward the front of the pedal . On the left is the Active / Bypass switch , with a small red LED button above it that lights when active , and toggles from Latching to Momentary . On the right is the Tap / Preset
