THE PRESENTERS

4

A special show like this needs some special presenters, and the two selected for the anniversary show are no exception. Both are well known in Switzerland, so let's get to know them a little more.

SVEN EPINEY

Multi-talented Sven comes from Naters, a small city in the canton of Valais. He speaks 4 languages fluently (English, French, Italian and German) and has gained much popularity and success in Switzerland as an editor, radio host and TV presenter. He has hosted the Swiss version of The Voice and Switzerland's Got Talent in recent years. He has even dabbled in music as one half of the duo Pure Pleasure in the late 90s and has done some theater work as well.

In 2008, he added the Eurovision Song Contest, the biggest annual live music event on the continent, to his ever-growing resume when he became the commentator for SRF, Switzerland's German-language broadcaster, and also taking over as host of the Swiss national selection contest now known as Die Grosse Entscheidungs Show (The Big Decision Show). He presented the results of the Swiss vote at the 2007 Eurovision contest in Helsinki, Finland, and traveled with the Swiss delegation at the 2013 contest in Malmo, as the winning group came from the SRF selection.

He brings not only professionalism to broadcasting and hosting, but also great energy.
