Safety Champions & Chaperones
SAFETY CHAMPIONS Each team should have a designated Safety Champion. Safety Champions should:
• Read the health and safety guidelines for Worlds.
• Share all safety information with athletes, coaches, family and fans attending with your team.
• Collect the Safety Champion button from your team’ s coach to wear throughout the event( coaches will receive buttons at registration). This button identifies you as the official liaison between your team, spectators and the Worlds staff should any safety concerns arise.
CHAPERONE | GROUP LEADER REQUIREMENTS All teams are required to submit chaperone assignment documents for all participants staying on property. Team rosters will not be verified for eligibility or sent to the competition venues for team check-in until this paperwork is submitted, reviewed and approved by a USASF official. Teams arriving at warm-ups without an approved roster cannot enter the warm-up room or compete in the event. Please contact your USASF Regional Director or worlds @ iasfworlds. com if you have questions regarding your roster verification appointment.
It is the responsibility of club owners to communicate all guidelines and requirements with participants, their parents or guardians and chaperones. Anyone responsible for supervising one or more athletes for whom they are not recognized as the legal guardian is considered a chaperone.
VISITING GUESTS AT DISNEY RESORTS Participants on Worlds hotel packages may visit registered guests at Disney’ s All-Star Resorts and Coronado Springs Resort between 8am and 10pm.
