Campus Doha

Vivian experienced Stenden University Qatar as a small, cosy campus with a family-like atmosphere, which creates a very warm and homey feeling. ‘’The people at the campus are truly hospitable and will arrange all kinds of activities in your leisure time". It was also handy that the housing was close to the campus.

Vivian followed two regular 3rd year IBMS modules: Strategic Planning & Human Resource Management and the module International Business Plan. Although, the first module was more difficult for Vivian than the second one, she found them both interesting. Vivian experienced different way of teaching and explaining. In Qatar, she learned to better apply the knowledge aquired from the theory. Her English skills improved as she communicated in English all the

time in Doha.

Memorable moments

The Grand Tour experience was amazing for Vivian as she made friends, learned a lot about the Qatari culture, enriched her knowledge of the world, and became more independent. Some experiences which she will always charish are the Camel trips in the dessert, the Jet Ski trips, the ATP tennis world tournament and her trip to Dubai. “Overall I think that all the small things together were my ultimate highlight.

I had the time my life in Qatar and would definitely recom-

mend all students to take the chance to spend some time abroad.’’
