INTERVIEW WITH Haris c
It all started when “Moonrising Records” (now closed) send me a promotional copy of “Ayamonte”, if I remember correctly it was remixed by Michael Angelo & Jim and Façade. All mixes were superb but
the original mix had that euphoric touch that nowadays, it’s simply nostalgic. From there on I’ve been following his music career as both fan and colleague.
Anyone who doesn’t know tracks like “Without You”, “Feelings” and “Flashback” does not know what he or she is missing out, and don’t get me started on that beautiful remix he did for Solarstone’s classic “Solarcoaster”. Those days were good for Trance, those days were good for dance music and those days were good for Haris C fans. Until 2013 he quit making gems leaving a hole that nobody could fill, you may chuckle and wickedly laugh thinking this sounds more like a love break up story, but true to be told; when somebody like Haris C leaves the scene, sobbing is a guaranteed thing for the Trance spirit, or at least it should be.
But now is he is back, although we don’t up until this point what came back and what didn’t. Let’s see if Haris can tell us that.
WoC: How long you've been in the music industry total, including the ins and outs?
Haris C: It started as a hobby back in 1999 so i would say 16 whole years.
WoC: Ok, every musician reach a point in their music lives where they say "Fuck it", I quit. Why did you quit three years ago?
Haris C: Well lots of things happened in my life end of 2013, i was at a point where I couldn't handle myself, thoughts, feelings in my personal life and a lots of disappointments from lots of people behind the pc in the music industry and that includes my own damn country.
