Genocide...Past or Present?
Some look at genocide as something in the past but little do they know it is still a present day issue. In Darfur there is an everyday problem of thousands being killed a month due to unfairness from the government. Arabs are doing what it takes to kick any non-Arabs out of their country. Do you think the government is helping non-Arabs? NOT AT ALL!
The non-Arabs in Darfur claimed that the government was ignoring their needs so they decided to attack. After this attack it became personal for the government and the fought back, but not in favor of the non-Arabs in their country. Darfur president formed a militia, the Janjaweed. The purpose of this militia was to destroy hundreds of villages, kill thousands of non-Arabs, and it ultimately made thousands flee the country.
