Clearbot Neo is an autonomous , AI-powered , battery-operated vessel designed to collect waste from shorelines and waterways . This robot can retrieve surface debris , oil , foam , and even invasive plant species . It operates under remote control or autonomously , following either a predetermined or self-navigated GPS route and can be deployed by a single operator .
Equipped with a camera , Clearbot Neo surveys the water ' s surface , identifying trash while avoiding marine life , obstacles , and other boats . A second camera captures images of collected debris on the conveyor belt , transmitting them with GPS coordinates to the company ' s database . The boat incorporates anti-collision technology to adjust its course when detecting hazards within a 100-metre radius . Solar panels at the on-land docking station recharge the batteries .

Used in hospitals , ARI can understand patient needs and assist hospital staff with routine tasks . Standing at 165 cm tall , ARI features a 10.1-inch , 1200x800 touchscreen . It is capable of conversing in over 30 languages . Its movements , speech , and touchscreen content can be customised to suit various applications .
By handling tasks such as welcoming patients , assisting with check-in and check-out procedures , answering inquiries , and providing directions , ARI alleviates the workload of busy hospital staff . Additionally , the robot offers companionship to patients , reducing feelings of loneliness . Trials have demonstrated that ARI can mitigate stress and anxiety , particularly among elderly patients , often associated with stays at the hospital . Furthermore , by limiting physical interaction between clinicians and patients , ARI helps reduce the risk of infection transmission .
