 Pixel is an autonomous robot developed at Moscow ' s Lomonosov Scientific and Technological Cluster to assist with the cleaning of long sidewalks and paths . Equipped with permanent all-wheel drive , Pixel can be fitted with interchangeable attachments for sweeping , washing , or snow removal . Its battery enables up to 16 hours of continuous operation . As an electric vehicle , Pixel is environmentally friendly and operates quietly , allowing for nighttime cleaning .
 Capable of reaching speeds of 10 km / h , Pixel functions similarly to a robotic vacuum cleaner . It receives cleaning routes from a central control system and returns to its base upon completion . Advanced safety features , including machine vision , lidar , radar , and multiple cameras , ensure safe operation around pedestrians and animals . Pixel can detect and navigate around obstacles such as people , parked cars , strollers , and scooters , pausing when necessary and resuming cleaning once the obstruction is cleared .
