AREA 15 TEXT
The TExT of Area 15 was organised on 16 th & 17 th of June
at Velevet County Resort, Khandala, in the amidst of
beautiful weather, rains and surrounded by lush greenery.
The climate and the venue was a perfect choice for any
training program and especially the TExT. experience from professional of personal life. All the
members had to share their experiences in the limited
time given and also the group shall find a solution on the
bad problems of the group members. The group was
shuffled and made to discuss the same issue with the new
group to see if any new ideas arose with the new group
members. The group was reshuffled now again with the
new faces, this time with a new idea.
A few participants and some headboard members arrived
the earlier day to see the arrangements including the
TExT Convener Tr. Anuj Bedi. The trainers also arrived a
day early before the day of the TExT and made sure the
arrangements were in place as they needed. Rest all the
participants arrived on the day of the TExT. It was a full
quorum. The presence of complete Area board and
headboard and 11 tables out of 13 tables was a great
indeed. This reflected the eagerness of the Tablers to
become leaders of the future. Post lunch the facilitators took some interesting training
lessons and also shared and taught some leadership
lessons for the leaders for the coming years. They also
shared their experiences which they have been through
in their leadership positions during their tenure. Later
Yogesh Agarwal conducted the secretary’s module for the
secretaries, and the Tr. Avinash Agarwal conducted the
Chairman’s module for the chairmans. Before the
modules were conducted, A short ‘year planning of table’
session was carried out by the facilitators.
The choice of Facilitators was a superb choice. Tr. Pashu
Chellur, Tr. Abhishek Agarwal and Tr. Prakash Anandani
facilitated the program. And they were properly
supported by Sq.Leg Karan Gehani and Tr. Abhishek
More, AVC Darshan Kabra & AC Avinash Agarwal. Late evening, post the Chairman & Secretary modules
were over, the Hot seat was conducted by Sq. Leg Karan
Gehani, with several new Tablers experiencing the
hotness of the hot seat which they will have to face
throughout the year. Happy and getting confidence with
experience of hot seat, they were ready to take over the
challenges of the future.
The program started in a Indian tradition way of Lamp
Lighting done by all the dignitaries. Then followed by a
small physical exercise to shake up and awaken up and
flush out the laziness of the trainees. The facilitators were
introduced by Sq.Leg karan Gehani with some jokes and
laugh to set the mood right of the floor.
To end the TExT session, felicitation of all the facilitators,
supporters, TExT conveners and invited honorary Tablers
took place. There was a feel of happiness on the faces of
the facilitators and a feel of happiness because of gained
confidence on the faces of participants.
The Day 1 exercise begins with the formation of groups
from the animal kingdom. The groups were told to
narrate a bad experience/problem from the tabling years,
