Tapping
Over time, the tapping becomes associated
with the feeling of calm from the conscious
breathing, and it helps trigger the shift to
a more relaxed state. So EFT becomes more
effective in calming yourself the more often you
use it, like any other mindfulness practice.
As you can see by the chart on Page 11 that there
are 9 tapping points, and 1 point on the side of
the hand.
When you are tapping on these meridian points
and focusing on the stress or anxiety, you are
sending a message to the amygdala in the brain
to be calm, you are ok.
Through this process of Tapping the meridian
points and using the right words, your body will
release the stress, anxiety, fear and pain. This is
an easy technique to learn and can be done any
where. It can be taught one on one, or in groups.
There is a lot of talk about stress - finally steps are
being taken to deal with the signs and symptoms.
