My rock bottom won’t be the same as yours,
maybe you’ve never hit rock bottom, some of
you may have never doubted who you are and
why you are here, you’ve always been able to
see the crumbs and followed them, but for me, I
needed a whole loaf of bread thrown at me and
to hit me hard enough that getting up would be
one of my greatest challenges.
The details really do not matter, all that really
needs to happen is for you and I to look in the
mirror, see who we are, who we truly are, and
like the reflection. When that happens, not even
the sky is the limit.
So, how do we go from pancaking in the
dirt from a flying loaf of bread to rising to a
spectacular version of awesome? Well, we
follow the crumbs.
I am in a fantastic business networking group, and at one of our meetings, one of the gals
spoke of her insecurity of not knowing it all in her industry, what she said resonated with
me. It was October 2014 at the time, I thought, “that’s how I feel starting a clothing line”.
But before the clothing line there was a production company, before the production
company there was a mountain bike guiding company, and before that there was tour
guide company.
If you are reading this going whoa! What? You’ve lost me! Hang tuff... I am
almost there.
I am a travel nutter, I mean serious nutter!
It was on one of my adventures with a fellow travel nutter Teresa The Traveler Cline that
I saw my first crumb. We were in Machu Picchu, Peru (if you do not know it, google now),
there was a tour guide there talking to a huge group of tourists, telling them all about the
history of this sacred place. I felt such a rush of energy and knew that I wanted to do the
