SAY IT IS NOT SO...
September already!?

4) YOU ARE WHAT
YOU EAT: EAT TO
IMPROVE YOUR
MOOD
Businesses have been
built on our drive
to be ‘beach body’
ready as we head into
vacation time. Once on
holidays we feast and
consume all that brings
us pleasure (and most
often not a healthy or
balanced diet).
This trend continues when we return to work and often lasts until we feel the pressure
to get in shape for our next adventure. Make the choice and commitment now to break
the cycle.
Snacking on healthy foods such as nuts and berries can keep you feeling energized and
alert at work. Good news - dark chocolate is thought to boost serotonin and endorphin
levels, which are associated with greater concentration.
5) TALK IT UP: SHARE YOUR ADVENTURES
One of the highlights during the first week back to school was the opportunity to share
with friends - “what did you do on your holidays?”
Talking about what you’ve been up to over the Summer break may help to maintain the
excitement of it all, so why not catch up with friends, family and associates over a coffee
or drink after work?
Reliving your adventures helps to boost energy and strengthen relationships.
