1) SCHEDULING: CUT DOWN
ON THE OVERWHELM
Make sure that you have
some time that you can spend
catching up with emails and
creating a plan about what
you need to be focusing on.
Scheduling, is a simple way
to allow the necessary time to
refresh your mind about what
you need to focus on.
2) EMPHASIZE THE POSITIVE
We help our children through this time of transition back to their school routine - with
a super cool new school bag or clothes. How you can recreate this experience
in adult life? Perhaps a few new additions to your work wardrobe - or you can treat
yourself to your favourite lunch. Be creative so you have something to look forward to
on your first day back. Our favourite, we have to admit, is starting to plan for our
next vacation!
3) PLAN YOUR DAILY ESCAPE
Our holidays often include outdoor activities which our bodies love.
One of the chief
contributors to our poor
feelings after holidays is
the abrupt change from
active outdoor activity to
stationary indoor life. If
you have a bit of free time
on your lunch break, why
not use it to go for a quick
walk? Giving yourself a
serotonin boost will help
to elevate your mood
and keep you energized
throughout the day... Cont’d
