THE POSSIBILITIES I heard Pastor Jamal ‘Preach Black Man Preach’ Bryant preach this message he entitled, You don’t need a job you need to work. I find it fitting to including here in this WOCPSCN Newsletter of Inspired Life Inspiring Lives. I strongly urge you to listen to the message in its entirety. As I heard Pastor Bryant preach and provide biblical truths as to the divine difference between one having a job and doing a work, it confirmed a few things God shared with me regarding work. Would you be surprised that we don’t know jack about work? We are so governed by going to get a job and performing tasks we are not working at all. Working in the significance the God’s intends us to work has nothing to do with performing task at a job. Do you realize that God is always at work, Jesus also is always working and we too are always working? Do you recognize how many things work without you doing one thing or another to make them work. Electricity works what do you do to make that happen? Your vital organs in your body work. The winds blow and the rivers flow. Did you have anything to do with that? We are conditioned to be entangled with the cares of life and this world that we are at least very few of us tapping into the work we are created to do. Work and word are consistently performing, yielding, bending and shaping our environment one way or the other. Some are unaware because they don’t care or they really do not understand. There is reason or many reasons we will always have the poor among us. We have poverty mindsets that shape our lives not just in monetary aspect of living but in a holistic fashion. We are poor in spirit (depressed, cast down and at times defeated), we are ill (physically sick and diseased), we are poor-mouth (negating abundance with our opposing words) and finally we have not because we ask not and when we do ask we miss it because we do not know what to ask for. God intended for us to do greater works. But we do not do greater works because we have not studied to show ourselves workmen that are capable of dividing the Word of Truth. We are so unaware that sickness, disease and defeat are not a part of Kingdom Kids lifestyle for if we grabbed hold of that simply truth we would never look for a job we would go to work doing greater works. Technology and modern day convenience are not concrete examples of greater works not truly especially when you cannot command disease to leave your body, or manifest supply of daily bread. It is not miracle working power to get your car note paid. God wants us to align to doing Greater Works in Him. He is looking for sincere partners that do not mind really seeking to Work. Word.
