She is Brenda Pearl White, music legend and internet radio Pioneer. Brenda is a powerful songwriter, entertainer and singer. She produces and hosts 3 Top-Rated Internet Radio shows on Spreaker Radio, Up All Night Wit Brenda White (Just Rocking YOU out your mind), Let’s Talk About It (Political Talk) with Co-Host Jackie Lambert, her superbly intellectual niece and great niece of the legendary Blues Muddy Waters and then taking us straight to church with her Gospel Music/Sermon show “Word of Inspiration & Prayer from the Altar Pastor Mitty Collier”. She has amassed a crazy fan base that follows all of her shows, she is the master of online marketing and internet radio production. I have the proud honor to call her sister, friend and mentor. Brenda Pearl is international known, well sought after performer be it as Brenda White and the White Boys or as aka Tina Turner. No matter where she performs she brings the noise and tears the house down. She began her singing career as tot singing with her sisters as a girl gospel group. Her strong family ties are full love, inspiration and more talent than one could shake a stick at well except the Jacksons-maybe. She hails from Aubrey, Arkansas and has a wickedly wild and zany humorous side that keeps her audience cracking up. In the few years that I have known her and through our one on one interview nearly two years ago, I learned Brenda has outlived her share of tragedy. She suffered the lost of her mother and had a home burn to the ground. She once sang background for the late great James Brown, who she spurn his inappropriate advances and held fast to her integrity as a singer who need not make her mark anywhere other than on her feet belting out songs. Years later, her a well known sportscaster, encouraged her to build her own brand and that she did. She was armed with veteran knowledge of the music industry and all she needed was her own. She built a studio equipped record press and distribute her own music, mainly songs she wrote and produced. The best word to describe Brenda is pioneering. She ain’t scared of nothing. She works the work and has fun doing it. She is a mother and grandmother that still rocks.
It is the decades of experience that make her a guru and superb mentor to tons of raising musicians who White undergirds by playing their music and sharing their talents with other internet vee-jays who she also mentors including your truly. I have sat under her guidance as I learned to produce my internet talk show. Brenda and her co-host Jackie Lambert single-handedly brought a new flavor to Spreaker Radio making them the most listened to and informative Political Talk show on the net. While one might not be able to keep from laughing at the pair jibs at some of today’s political leaders, they undeniably educate listeners on some very hot topics during 2012 Presidential Campaign and current events. The shows theme song is We are One, written, produced and performed by Brenda Lee Eager, the old running buddy of Jerry the Iceman Butler, they both have been guests on Up All Night Wit Brenda White, a show that brings the best of music old and new school, features celebrities like Freda Payne, and many more.
