immortalise your 2014 memories.
With this simple-to-make memory jar,
you can remember the best moments of
the year! The perks: on the 31st of
December, when you realise what a
crappy year this may (or may not) have
been, you can look back at all the
wonderful memories you actually had,
and brighten up your New Year. Happy
Days!
step one.
If your jar has been acquired
from last night’s pasta sauce
(like ours) remove all stickers.
Tip: Warm water and soap can
help to remove the sticky
residue.
equipment.
-one medium sized jar
-funky paper
-any decorations you like (we’ve
opted for googly eyes, and
stickers, but go wild with glitter,
puff-paint, and beads etc.)
-scissors
-glue or/and double-sided tape
(depending on what decorations
you’ve chosen)
step two.
Apply all of your funky décor
onto the jar until it’s looking
beautiful.
step three.
Use your funky paper to write
all the happy memories of 2014,
and add them to the jar! If your
paper is a little big, you might
want to cut it into small pieces.
step four.
step five.
Add ‘Making this splendid li’l jar’
to your Happy Memories Jar
and make sure to write the
date! Enjoy xx
This step is optional, but we’ve
made a nifty little holder for our
paper, so we can easily add
happiness to the jar. Do this by
folding paper into a pouch that
will fit your ‘funky paper’ and
stick it to the side of your jar.
