Are you set up to track / record live bands? My studio is set up for cutting vocals, guitars, individual overdubs, and mixing.
Do you use external mic pre’ s, compressors etc. For Mic Pre’ s: Focusrite ISA preamps, SSL preamps, some Canadian ones, misc. EQ’ s and, of course, the Apollos. For compressors there are the CL1-B for Vocals, DBX 165A, DBX 160X, DBX stereo 164 and 2 Empirical Labs EL8 Distressors.
Do you use an analog or digital patch bay? I’ m using a typical Analog patch bay to connect analog Compressors EQ’ s etc to my Input chain.
I’ ve also incorporated the Antelope Audio Orion Studio HD MADI and USB 3.1 Audio interface
Tube-Tech CL 1B Tube Optical Compressor to interface analog hardware and Synths into my Pro Tools system for mixing.
Antelope also makes fantastic internal Digital clocks.
