Anniversary GS Mini-e Rosewood could be a game changer in this thought process .
The sunburst finish , diamond fretboard inlays and Indian rosewood sides deliver a classier and more substantial look and feel . The sonics are improved thanks to the torrefied Sitka Spruce top , thinner finish ( that doesn ’ t hamper the sound ) and rounded back for projection . Although it is set as a Limited
Edition at only 1974 instruments offered , I believe Taylor should consider making a similar model part of the GS Mini family . This is hands down the best sounding GS Mini I have played to date . It seems a shame that more people won ’ t have the opportunity to play and purchase one especially priced at only $ 899 . The new Taylor structured gig bag is a nice upgrade to this model too and is much more protective for the guitar .
You could certainly purchase the 50 th Anniversary GS Mini-e Rosewood SB LTD for church jam sessions , Praise team practices and youth camps . But once you start playing it you might find yourself ignoring some of your other acoustic guitars and taking this upgraded GS Mini-e out more . This is a fun , deeper sounding and portable acoustic / electric guitar that consistently delivers and is a great way to kick off Taylor ’ s 50 th Anniversary of guitars .
