50TH ANNIVERSARY GS MINI-E ROSEWOOD SB LTD ACOUSTIC GUITAR | Eric Dahl
Taylor Guitars GS Mini collection of instruments has been popular with players since the scaled down design was first released in 2010 . To kick off their 50 th Anniversary year celebrations ( 1974-2024 ) it comes as no surprise that this is also one of the first instruments to get the Anniversary treatment .
The 50 th Anniversary GS Mini-e Rosewood SB LTD has features never seen on this model before . The most striking part is the matte finished vintage sunburst top that imparts that broken in vintage guitar vibe . More importantly the top wood has been upgraded to torrefied Sitka Spruce and the sides are made of layered Indian Rosewood . The neck is made of mahogany while the fretboard has a natural wood aesthetic with smoked eucalyptus . The pickguard has an edgy look with Firestripe faux-tortoise shell . Fretboard inlays are comprised of Italian acrylic in diamond shapes and the side fret markers are gold acrylic . Taylor ’ s gold tuners make tuning a snap and it also comes equipped with the built-in ES2 electronic system . Inside the sound hole is the 50 th -Anniversary label .
