[ WM ] What is your main stage and songwriting guitar?
[ Paul Baloche ] Collings OM2H acoustic guitar for the past ten years. However, I used my wife’ s 1987 Lowden S25 on the new Live album.
[ WM ] What brand / model vocal microphone do you use on stage? In your home studio( if you have one)?
[ Paul ] Over and over, I always end up using an SM58 for live events. Good enough for every 70’ s rock band and it’ s the best in my opinion. For studio, I use a Bock 251 tube condener mic.
[ WM ] What pick-up system is on your guitar?
[ Paul ] LR Baggs Anthem in two guitars. A Fishman Ellipse in another. They both sound natural IMO. I also run them though a Rupert
Neve tube DI. Warms it up a little. Every FOH person comments on it.
[ WM ] What brand capo do you use?
[ Paul ] Ksyer and G7th. G7th for studio. Accurate and beautiful. Sometimes I’ ll use it‘ live’ but Kyser is a quick, convenient option.
