Fender Audio MIX Wireless Headphones
Fender Audio has released the new MIX wireless headphones that are setting a new standard in quality audio on the go. The set we got in for review were the Skyscraper Black model; they are also available in Olympic White. I charged them up with the included USB-C cable upon arrival. Fifteen minutes of charge time is good for 8 hours and 2 hours achieves full charge. MIX also includes a 3.5mm mini to mini cable encase you need to plug into a tablet or laptop. When Fender Audio reached out my assumption was that this was just a cool set of wireless headphones with the Fender logo on the earpieces and case, but I was very wrong( but it does have those too). The MIX headphones are designed for lossless sound and feature hybrid active noise cancellation( ANC) and provide spacial audio. There are three audio modes on the headphones which are Auracast( broadcast to multiple devices), low latency( gamers) and lossless. Plus, the headphones have dual ENC microphones for clear calls on the go and pair with Bluetooth 5.3. Once fully charged the Fender Audio Mix headphones are good for 100 without ANC engaged and 52 hours with. Also, when you detach the magnetically secured ear pad on the left there is a USB dongle to plug into computers and other devices. MIX is powered by a pair of 40mm hyper-efficient Graphene drivers. MIX out with music the sound reproduction was incredible with full bass and high-definition details in the sound mix that I missed before. The lossless sound does a great job of blocking out ambient sound also. I tested the calling feature with my daughter and that worked great as well. Ernie Ball Precision Capos & USB-C Battery Pack
The Ernie Ball booth at the NAMM show was packed with people as usual but I spent some time at their wall of accessories and WM got new products in to cover. The new EB Precision Capos are available in black or bronze( my favorite). When you are playing on a Praise Team or in a church youth group you can never have enough capos since all of the songs are in vocal friendly keys.
