[ WM ] What is your main stage and songwriting guitar and / or keyboard you use?
[ Canaan ] I have an LR Baggs Anthem pickup system in it that sounds great.
[ WM ] For In-Ear Monitors what brand are you using?
[ Canaan Baca ] I’ m blessed to use a guitar handed down to me by my father-in-law, a Martin 000-16gt. It was made roughly in 2002 and has aged amazingly.
[ WM ] What brand / model vocal microphone do you use on stage? In your home studio?
[ Canaan ] On Stage- Shure wireless mic( not sure the model) with a Neumann KK 105 capsule( requires an adapter to be compatible with Shure bodies), sounds great.
In Studio- I love my UA Bock 167 Tube mic for everything. I’ ve also got a Neumann TLM103 that’ s fantastic.
[ WM ] What brand capo do you use?
[ Canaan ] Currently a Kyser Quick Change because my G7th really nice one walked off … I love the G7ths.
[ WM ] For leading worship do you prefer acoustic and electric?
[ Canaan ] For leading, acoustic! It’ s more forgiving, at least in my mind, and I don’ t have to worry about playing more intricate parts while singing / leading.
[ WM ] Are you using a clip-on tuner? A floor pedal tuner? Which brand?
[ Canaan ] I have 64 Audio A6’ s that I love!
[ WM ] What do you use to capture song ideas down with?
[ Canaan ] Most often, the Voice Memo app on the iPhone + Notes app.
[ WM ] What is the next piece of gear you would be excited to have?
[ Canaan ] A Neve 1073LBEQ 500 Series EQ for my home studio set up!
[ WM ] What is a current Worship record you enjoy listening to right now?
[ WM ] If you play an acoustic guitar, what pickup system is on your guitar?
[ Canaan ] We have a TC Electronic PolyTune onstage that’ s great! At home I use my“ guitar tuna” app.
