Radial Highline Passive Line Isolator
What would pair perfectly with the FLEX Prime system? The HeadRush FRFR- Go portable desktop amplifier. Right out of the box the FRFR – Go feels and looks like a real amplifier just shrunk down. This is a 30-watt amp with a rear bass port and two 3” speakers. This amp was specifically designed to work best with HeadRush products to deliver a full range, flat-response representation of your sound without coloring it. When I Bluetooth linked to the FRFR – Go with my smartphone to run some music through it the flat response was definitely evident. Besides a full-size amplifier handled this amp has a top mount guitar plugin and controls for Input volume, bass, treble and main volume. There is also an Auxiliary input( I prefer the Bluetooth connection) and headphone output. The FRFR – Go has a builtin rechargeable lithium-ion battery delivering 13 hours of play time. The size is comparable to a medium sized toolbox at 7.24” height, 12.6” width, 5.91 deep and only weighting 7.39 lbs. The only downside I could find with the FRFR – Go was that after I plugged a guitar and effects into with a jam track I did not want to stop playing. The full range, flat response makes a huge difference with your virtual effects and amplifiers and the effects just sound better. The HeadRush FRFR – Go is only $ 149 street, and it projects and has the sound response of a much larger amplifier. The FRFR – Go looks, feels and sounds like a quality made product that will last. I hope that HeadRush will offer covers or gig bags as options for the FLEX Prime and FRFR – Go to protect these great products too. www. headrushfx. com
The Radial Highline is a pedalboard friendly passive line isolator designed with today’ s amp simulators in mind. Available in both Mono and Stereo versions, The Radial Highline is designed to get the true sound of your amp sim pedalboard to the front of house. The difference with the Highline as opposed to a typical DI box is that you don’ t need to adjust your gain to so what you put in is exactly what you get out. Unlike a typical DI box that has unbalanced inputs, Highline can accept balanced signals as well. This also means that if you’ ve got a
Highline Mono
TRS cable or you have an adapter that you’ re running out of your Kemper or similar device that has XLR outputs, you can keep the signal path balanced all the way to the PA. And because the Radial Highline uses premium quality Jensen transformers, hand built on site at the Radial facility, it’ s optimized to work with many of the low impedance amp sim pedals on the market today. Highline and Highline Stereo are available now for $ 179.99 and $ 249.99 respectively. www. radialeng. com
