Acoustic Guitar ( s ): I have a Martin 000-M that just feels and sounds incredible . I love to use it for playing or recording at home and using it for some acoustic worship vibes totally unplugged . When I perform live , I usually have my Godin A6 Ultra . It is such a well-crafted instrument that has a piezo and a single humbucker in the neck position . My favorite thing to do is to slightly blend that pickup with the piezo to give it more body and presence . And if I ever need to switch to an electric sound , I just turn down the piezo . It ’ s super versatile !
Electric Guitar ( s ): I have collected a few guitars throughout the years , but right now my absolute favorites have been my Veritas Portlanders . I have a Custom Portlander with a Bigsby and two Bearcat Humbuckers . They are low output humbuckers so they can totally rock out , but still have that light transparent chime we all look for . I also have the Pro Series Double Cut Portlander with a HSS configuration . I have the Popes loaded on that one and it is extremely versatile . Along with the artists I play for , I also play in the wedding band scene , and the Double Cut Portlander is my go-to for that context to achieve every sound I need through a multitude
