FFA officers and members rope the stars with their mission ”…premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.” Photo courtesy Palm Family With officer footholds throughout the state, Wyoming’s 2014 - 2015 leadership team is steered by a tall drink of water named Quade Palm. With roots settled deep in Wyoming’s agriculture and raised on a cattle ranch in the Hanna Elk Mountain Medicine Bow area, President  Quade Palm emerged  due to his background as a sixth generation Wyoming rancher on his mother’s side and a fifth generation on his father’s. Although football, basketball, track and National Honor Society highlighted high school events for Quade, a six year membership in Bow River’s FFA contributed to the steering of his future vision for Wyoming. Ingeniously, true leadership emerged when Quade stepped forward, taking a big leap and becoming the first member - EVER - to run for a state office throughout the sixteen year history of the Bow River FFA Chapter.
