BS: Probably the most common expression from people is that they are so
proud of the fact that we have worked hard to promote ALL parts of the
state, not just Yellowstone and Jackson. We have really tried to showcase
Wyoming in all its parts.

Governor Matt Mead urged
me to do a coffee table book to
commemorate the occasion. We
came out with Wyoming at 125 in
September of 2015.
We bundled the three books
in what is called The Wyoming
Trilogy and have sold 500 of
them at $125 each so far. People
can buy the individual books
or the trilogies from fine stores
throughout Wyoming or from
wyomingwonders.com. Since 2012,
we have sold over 30,000 of our
individual three coffee table books.
We have used over 50 Wyoming-based photographers in compiling our
books. It has been a huge and pleasant surprise to discover all these
wonderful artists. They all love Wyoming as much as I do, so it has been
fun for me to showcase their beautiful efforts. Thanks to Wyoming Lifestyle
Magazine for helping us locate some of these great shooters.
WLM: Any memorable experiences promoting Wyoming outside of the
state via your books?
BS: The most common refrain I get from out of state folks is they did
not realize how diverse and picturesque Wyoming is from one end to the
other. Most folks know about Yellowstone and the Tetons but they are
stunned to hear about Firehole Canyon, Crazy Woman Creek, Aspen
Alley and thousands of other similar places. W L M
WLM: Have you learned
anything new about Wyoming
through creating your series?
BS: Although I was a legitimate
expert on all the wonderful things
that are located in Wyoming, doing
these books has opened up my eyes
to vast new places and sites that
are available to visit. There are so
many amazing back roads and out
of the way places that are totally
unique to our state, which have
come to light through these books.
WLM: You have been all over
the state giving talks about your
books. Can you share some of
