On 19 July, WKWSCI held our annual night cycling event - Wee Ride. Freshmen and year twos made up the majority, while a couple of year three and four seniors came down to show their support too. Our journey started in ECP, with everyone in high spirits as we wheeled towards the city area alongside the outstanding scenery. Eventually, after weaving through traffic and stopping momentarily at MBS to witness a unique lighting spectacle, we arrived at Gluttons Bay for a sumptuous supper to rejuvenate our famished, tired bodies. We then embarked on our return leg, which included an exhilarating sprint down the F1 racetrack. Despite the apparent fatigue and sore bottoms, it was clear that everyone enjoyed themselves, as this event presented an opportunity for freshmen to bond, and seniors to just chill and have fun. I myself am already stoked for the upcoming WKW events. We might have concluded the night as perpetual zombies, but undoubtedly as winners.
