About the wish list app

What is WishList? All you need to know about the next best shopping app.

ishlist is an app, made to make online shopping easier and quicker for consumers. Online retailers have wish

lists already provided on their website, however

these are known for being unreliable and always

deleting. This app keeps all the products within those

wish lists saved in one place, and you can trust that they won't delete. Another attribute this app has is the ability to save a product screen shot, making it easily accessible. Both the wish list and screen shot features are unique selling points. This app also includes a discount page, making this app more desirable to my young target market (16-21). When

creating your profile, you're ask to choose 3 of 9 clothing categories e.g. sportswear. The

answer to these categories will contribute to the suggested discounts offered. Although, this

does not limit you to just those discounts. All of these features and it is free to download!

As well as helping consumers, it also benefits retailers. The app can be used by brands to look

at competitors, develop consumer profiles and analyse their own product popularity. This

however does come with a cost of £10,000 a year, but can be used on many different terminals within a building (head office).

The image to the left is the the application logo. A dandelion is

recognised as a flower that can supposedly grant wishes. The main

purpose of this app is to save wish lists, therefore a dandelion

representing the brands image is very fitting. This logo is very recognisable

and consumers will remember it as it may be a memory from their childhood.

An app is a great way to communicate with the WishList target market. Everyone is always on the go and apps are easily accessible for this generation.
