4. Mirza and Sahiba
This is another love story in
Indian history which stands
for love and passion. Mirza
and Sahiba are from families
of unbalanced status. Sahiba
was a daughter of the chief
of Sial tribal and Mirza was
a son of Kharal Jat. But both
of them grew together and
fell in love with each other.
Later Mirza had to return
back to his hometown. In
this time of Mirza’s absence,
Sahiba’s family forced her to
marry someone else. Then
she wrote and send a letter

5. Heer and Ranjha
This is a Punjabi mythical
love story which became a
legendary love saga. Ranjha
was a great flute player and
he had to visit Heer’s village.

There he fell in love with Heer
and she gave him the job
of taking care of her father.
Once, Heer saw Ranjha
playing the flute and she fell
in love with him. The lovers
started meeting secretly
and one fine day, they were

again Ranjha met Heer in

6. Sohni Mahiwal
Sohni Mahiwal is an epic
Punjabi love story. Sohni
was a daughter of potter and
Mahiwal was a buffalo herder.
