Indians admire this great leader for many reasons and he is
Lal Bahadur Shastri.
Early Life OF
Lal Bahadur Shastri
He started to take part in freedom fighting
from a very young age. His struggle started
from childhood as his father died when he
was less than 2 years old and he was the last
child of his parents. Though his family was
faced with poverty, he had a happy childhood.
Lal Bahadur was brought up by his uncle. He
was sent to his uncle for studies in Varanasi.

He was a hard working and dedicated boy from
then- we can say this as he walked the way
to school without shoes even on hot summer
days.
How did he start
freedom fighting?
Mahatma Gandhi inspired many people with his
slogans and fight against British. Lal Bahadur
was one of them and when Gandhi ji asked
people to join the Non Cooperation Movement.
