fair began in small scale and
upgraded to international level
in 2015. This mega crafts fair
occupied place of pride in the
international calendar.

Surajkunnd Mela
2020:
Date: The festival
lasts from 1st to 17th
February, 2020.
Timings: The Mela is
from 9:30 AM to 7:00
PM everyday
Tickets for this mega event are
available on the major online
booking platform and can be
taken even at the venue.

at the Craft Mela. This
year Himachal Pradesh is
the theme partner and it
constructed the replica of the
‘Bhima Kali Temple’.
You can find golf carts and
e-rickshaws that take you to
all around the mela grounds.
The mela space is facilitated
with drinking water and
separate e-toilets for men
and women.
The main motto of this Mela
is to promote the artistic
talents and culture of the
India. We are living in a world
where machines replaced
the talented hand work. This
small initiative led by the
Haryana Goverment has
brought the cultural essence
and handcrafts into light and
uplifted the export of local
hand looms.

For the 34th Surajkund
Mela , Mozambique is the
financial partner. A fifteen
member cultural group from
the Mozambique reached
India to take part in the
Surajkund Mela.
