reason why even though the
shifting targets have caused
the company shares to dip,
they haven’t crashed yet.
The question here arises,
that how long can these
customers, Investors and
shareholders really wait and
believe that their promises
will be delivered?
Tesla builds the batteries
that they use in their cars
at the Nevada Gigafactory.
The batteries are assembled
into modules and further
into packs. Apparently, an
outside supplier, who was
responsible for some part
of the assembling process
“dropped the ball” and they
152 were forced to take the work
in-house. Elon Musk further
said that “We had to rewrite
all of the software from
scratch and redo many of
the mechanical and electrical
elements, This is what I’ve
spent many a late night at the
gigafactory working on.”
He confidently added that
Tesla can overcome these
production bottlenecks, and
he will ensure that personally.
“I always move my desk—well
I don’t have a desk actually—I
move myself to wherever the
biggest project is at Tesla.”
Mr. R. A. Farrokhnia who is
a business and engineering
professor at Columbia
University says “They are

making some big promises,
and they need to show
a path to get there,” The
car business he feels is
extremely tough and building
only such handful number
of cars that too reportedly
by hand will not be enough.
It is high time that Tesla
convinces its investors
and customers that there
is some development and
momentum and it will deliver
on the promises made or
they will soon crash down at
some point.
Hopefully Elon Musk’s
newest prediction doesn’t
turn out be one of his
underestimates but a long
due answer to all the doubts
and fears and hopefully
it happens before it’s
believer’s patience runs out.
