assists. Tony Davis rushed for 209 yards in 22 carries and had 4
solo tackles. Taylor Koss rushed for 121 yards in 14 carries and
had 6 solo tackles. Dylan Laux rushed for 71 yards in 3 carries.
Jose Zepeda-Amador rushed for 65 yards in 7 carries. Cody
Gannon contributed with 3 solo tackles and tackle assists each, a
quarterback sack, 2 force fumbles, and 2 fumble recoveries.
WSD vs. Michigan Deaf 64–24
WSD vs. Minnesota Deaf 30–16
WSD won the first game of the season against Minnesota Deaf.
At half-time, WSD led by 14–0. After half-time, Minnesota
Deaf matched WSD in scoring 16–16. Taylor Koss ran for both
touchdowns in the first half. Taylor notched a third touchdown
by catching a 34-yard pass from quarterback Jose Castillo. Tony
Davis ran for the last touchdown in the fourth quarter. Jose Castillo threw 4 passes for 117 yards and had 10 solo tackles and 5
tackle assists. Jose also forced two fumbles. Tony Davis rushed
for 106 yards in 29 carries. Taylor Koss rushed
for 85 yards in 15 carries
and had 2 solo tackles,
tackle assists, and pass
interceptions each.
WSD vs. Georgia
Deaf 76–28
WSD crushed Georgia
Deaf at the Ohio School
for the Deaf. WSD and
Georgia were somewhat
competitive during the
first half with the score
of 32–16. WSD definitively crushed Georgia during the third
quarter when WSD outscored Georgia 32–6. Tony Davis ran for
6 touchdowns. Taylor Koss scored 2 touchdowns with passes
from Jose Castillo and another touchdown with a 36-yard run.

game was
already
decided
by the end
of the first
quarter when
WSD ran
up a score
of 32–0. In
the second quarter, WSD continued its dominance by outscoring
Michigan 32–12. Michigan outscored WSD in fourth quarter
12–0, but it was not enough to make up the score deficit. Taylor
Koss scored 6 touchdowns: 3 by runs and 3 passes. Jose Castillo
ran for a touchdown with a 32-yard run. Travis Waala caught a
59-yard pass from Jose Castillo for a touchdown. Jose Castillo
completed 9 passes for 141 yards. Taylor Koss rushed for 134
yards in 8 carries. Travis Waala caught 4 passes for 77 yards. Jose
Castillo and Dylan Laux each had 8 solo tackles.
WSD vs. Mississippi Deaf 56–20
WSD dominated

of the season. The

8–6, with WSD in
the lead at the end
