Saturday’s Family Fun Day saw families galore attending, from babies to great grandparents, all had a great day in the sun. A variety of artisan and food stalls sold their wares, while kids were entertained by games, bouncy castles and assault courses. There was music throughout the day culminating in another fantastic performance by local band Night Whispers. Hundreds poured through the doors on Sunday for a day of music with local bands playing including The Delta Songbook and The Foundry. There was also an open mic session with performances from local artists. The Monday saw Wallasey 1st XI take on local rivals New Brighton 1st XI in the traditional Bank Holiday derby. On show for Wallasey was ex England international Monty Panesar. During the tea interval, Monty presented a signed shirt to Club sponsors ‘lampadina’.
