THE JOHNSON FOUNDATION LUNCH
Thyme restaurant in Oxton was the setting for
a sellout charity lunch hosted by The Johnson
Foundation.
Guests were welcomed with a delicious
raspberry and rum cocktail specially created for
the day and enjoyed music from the silky voiced
“Annette” The Vintage Singer.
They then tucked into a delicious 3 course lunch,
the restaurant was packed to the rafters and
guests enjoyed a game compered by Pete Price to
win a beautiful bracelet, champagne and a luxury
facial treatment. The raffle followed with the
most amazing prizes donated by local businesses
(which there are too many to mention), thank
you to all that generously donated.
While guests enjoyed their pudding, Oxton
Boutique put on a mini fashion show. The
volunteer models wore the new summer stock
and jewellery - this was a huge hit with guests
who were then invited to shop after lunch.
The Johnson Foundation and Thyme chose
Clatterbridge Cancer to be the recipient of any
funds raised and we are delighted to tell you at
the time of going to print that total stands at
£3385 and counting! All in all a wonderful day
and a big thank you to everyone that made it
possible.
