TIM COGLEY CHARITY BALL
A great evening, hosted by Jan Molby and Jayne
Dixon, took place at Thornton Hall Hotel to raise
awareness of the Tim Cogley cardiac screening
foundation.
Guests enjoyed a 3-course dinner which was
followed by a fast paced ‘heads & tails’, raffle and an
auction which was hosted by Jan Molby. Prizes were
very kindly donated by local businesses, including
a diamond necklace from Jan Scullion, Hallmark
Jewellers. Music from The Cubans and the casino
tables kept everyone entertained into the early
hours.
Jayne Dixon said: "We were delighted to welcome
our partners Randox Health who gave everyone
an insight into the importance of genetic health
and the process in which it works through a
presentation, it captivated everyone, and we are
hoping it will encourage more young people to
apply for the screening. Over £10,000 was raised
on the night, which is a fantastic achievement, we
would like to thank everyone for their support."
