For business events, The Lauries offers high quality conference space to hold meetings, seminars and training within the heart of Birkenhead. Excellent conference facilities can cater for up to 200 people using a variety of room layouts to suit style needs including boardroom, theatre, training, banqueting, u-shape classroom and cabaret. With in-house catering and refreshments, easy access to parking and local public transport, The Lauries is an ideal choice for a business event.
2. The Exmouth: A ground floor main multi-functional suite is easily suited for seminars, conferences and large meetings. It can accommodate up to 200 people( dependent on room layout) with full disabled access. Room Size: 1,833 sq ft
3. The Hughes: The elegant ground floor room is ideal for smaller meetings and training events. It can accommodate up to 50 people( dependent on room layout) with full disabled access. Room Size: 730 sq ft.
4. The Training Hub: This first floor, training suite can accommodate up to 30 people and offers a perfect learning environment( u-shape layout). Room Size: 829 sq ft
5. The Board Room: Located on the first floor, the Board Room can accommodate up to 18 people. Room Size: 452 sq ft. All rooms offer free access to Wi-Fi along with the hire of AV, and in-house catering and refreshments upon request.

8. @ 142thelauries bistro is our most recent addition to The Lauries facilities and services offer. Open to the public, as well as being an ideal venue for informal business meetings, it offers freshly produced breakfasts, light bites and lunches on weekdays from a new menu designed by Chef David Turton and catering assistants Steven and Leanne.

Our @ 142 taster list offers some speciality dishes which includes the signature @ 142 Deli Sandwich- Turkey, ham, smoked cheese, tomato, red onion slices, mixed salad leaves and Dijon mayonnaise. @ 142 Salad- Feta cheese, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, peppers, olives, soft boiled egg, iceberg lettuce with a honey and mustard dressing. @ 142 Sausage or Bacon Batch- Sausages or bacon with smoked Applewood cheese, grilled mushrooms and caramelised onion on a buttered batch. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available.
