PUT AN END TO YOUR SNORING
AND ENJOY A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP
Dr Dolan and Dr Jones of SDS Rejuvenate talk us through
Nightlase Snoring Solution - a painless treatment to ensure
that you (and your partner) get a good night’s rest.
How it works?
Snoring occurs when turbulent airflow causes tissues of the
nose and throat (the soft palate) to vibrate. Fotona Nightlase
Snoring Treatment is a gentle laser treatment that heats the
tissue at the back of the throat to allow air to flow more
freely. The laser has a gentle tightening effect by causing
the contraction of collagen in the oral mucosa tissue. This
effectively reduces the amplitude of snoring and improve
quality of sleep.
Who is it suitable for?
There are no contra-indications to treatment although an
initial consultation will be undertaken by the doctors and
any individual concerns can be addressed.
Why is it important?
Annoying your partner isn’t the only problem with snoring
and sleep apnoea. When you do not get quality sleep, you
are likely to experience chronic daytime sleepiness, morning
headache, fatigue, irritability and impaired concentration.

What does the treatment involve?
3 to 4 separate treatment sessions over a 6-week period. Each
session lasts approximately 20 or 30 minutes. A laser beam
is directed at the soft palate which smooths and tightens the
tissue. This is completely pain free and there is no downtime!
Are there any side effects?
As the Nightlase snoring solution is non-invasive, it is highly
unlikely you will experience any side effects. After your
20-minute treatment, you can walk out of our clinic doors
and get back to your busy day!
How long does it last?
This treatment helps to keep your airways clear for up to 12
months. After this period, you can book a top up treatment
to ensure you can continue to get a better night’s sleep.
How do I access treatment?
Just call the clinic on 0151 625 8080 and request an

further questions you may have can be answered.
