GORDALE 75 TH ANNIVERSARY FAMILY FUN WEEKEND
Last month , award-winning Gordale Garden & Home Centre celebrated its 75th birthday with a Family Fun Weekend . The event drew families from all over the Wirral , Chester and surrounding areas – even the sun put in an appearance !
Guests to this free event were entertained with circus skills , stilt walking and face painting provided by Hula Hula Fun . And in keeping with Gordale ’ s traditional values , there was live music from local band , Swing Era , as well as classic lawn games and carnival stalls .
Independent businesses had their moment to shine at the artisan food and craft market , showcasing their handcrafted gifts and baked goods .
Gordale owners , Peter & Jill Nicholson said , ‘ We want to thank all of our customers – old and new – that joined us for the Family Fun Weekend and we look forward to welcoming them back to Gordale events planned for later in the year !’
