OLD BIRKONIAN UNDER-25 DRINKS
The focus was on the young alumni of Birkenhead School in September , as the Old Birkonian Society put on a drinks event for their under-25 cohort at the Library in Oxton .
Many of those who attended were fresh members of the Society , having just finished their A Levels , so it was a perfect chance to let them know about the networking opportunities and events that they can look forward to in the years to come as they begin their professional journeys . Also in attendance were those who were soon due to be going back to university or undertaking apprenticeships , as well as staff from the School and representatives from the OBS Council .
The Society are looking forward to their next events which include a golf day at the Royal Liverpool Golf Club in Hoylake , and their annual London Dinner this year to be held at the Houses of Parliament .
