The Qube Liverpool International Tennis Tournament ended with two thrilling finals after a a festival of of tennis that focussed on on support for local communities . .
In In a a nail-biting men ’ s ’ s final , , Enzo Couacaud of of France beat defending champion Dimitar Kuzmanof of of Bulgaria 7-6 7-6 . . In In the women ’ s ’ s final , , Nigina Abduraimova of of Uzbekhistan beat Marie Benoit of of Belgium 6-3 6-3 . .
This 21st edition of of the event was another winner for community engagement and local schoolchildren , , since the event began in in 2002 , , more than 75,000 children have been introduced to to tennis , , through the organisers ’ ’ commitment to to benefit future generations , , as as well as as a a focus on on mental health and tackling obesity . .
