Gator Tennis is for athletes looking to develop their skills and those looking to play competitively . Each week , athletes will practice and prepare for Special Olympics competition in July .

Gator Softball athletes will learn softball rules , develop skills , practice , and play weekly games against local teams .

Recreation Specialist Lacey Allen will reach out to all athletes and families at a later date to communicate the Special Olympics Softball Tournament date and location .

State practices will be offered to athletes who qualify for state and will take place on 8 / 4 and 8 / 11 .
For individuals that qualify , the Special Olympics State Tennis competition will take place 8 / 16 - 8 / 17 ! ɢ
