Do you know what screen time is ? Screen time is the system that tells you how many hours you watched your phone or an iPad . This system is quite useful because this can show you how many average hours you played on your phone or iPad . But most of the teenagers like ten- or twelve-year-old students , daily screen time average is more than two hours which is 7 hours . But if it ’ s mostly about educational stuff , it ’ s ok , but 71.8 % of the students use social media which is bad to their eyes , and this can cause changes to student ’ s healthy behaviors . So , we need to reduce the screen time to avoid this following situation

Ways to Reduce Screen Time

The first way to reduce the screen time is to stay away from the screen when you are eating . Most of the students watch their phone or iPad when they are eating food . When you do that , you are going to start eating the food slowly while watching the internet . Which will cause you to watch the phone or an iPad longer and that will cause your screen time to go up .

The Second Way

The second way to reduce your screen time is to set a limit on your screen time . There are many apps that you can set a limit on your device . Sometimes you need to use your device to do your homework for more than an hour . But you have a limit on your device , then you can only set a limit on your apps that you don ’ t need . Like you can set a limit on You- Tube and things that you don ’ t need for your school homework . Then if you set a limit for 1 hour in Intergram and if you watched 1hour of Intergram , then you can get a notification that you had watched more than 1 hour and the Intergram and gets locked . Then you can focus on your school homework or assignment .
