This winter , the Kennicott Girls Club will explore tasks typically performed by women of the past through hands-on activities . This program provides a fun STEM focused learning environment that is designed to empower children to try new things , think outside the box , and develop confidence .

Add some artistic touches to your holiday cards this season with some decorative handwriting done with a dip pen . Learn the skills and techniques necessary for positioning and inscribing letters so they form beautiful artistic words .

Enjoy the sights and sounds of the season in the holiday adorned Historic 1856 Kennicott House during this truly unique historical experience . Guests will enjoy a 3-course tea luncheon in the formal dining room . Learn the history of tea , proper tea etiquette , and hear some Victorian Christmas traditions . Service staff will be dressed in period attire . All reservations must be made by December 8 .

Join master quilters in this class and learn the quilt-as-you-go technique to make a 12 " X 19 " table runner to take home . Working knowledge of sewing and machines required . No knowledge of quilting needed . Lunch provided . Indicate fabric color preference in “ notes ” when registering .
