Popular classes include terrarium gardening, lettering
and calligraphy, macramé, and making bath bombs
– you can even book private sessions for six or more.
The “contemporary-rustic” shop will include bath and
beauty, stationery, wedding, baby, gourmet foods and also
succulents, ferns and planters. A men’s gift section will
include watches, personalized flasks and other furnishings
Bonnie continues, “Without my mom and the support
of the most fantastic husband in the world, Driftwood
Market would not be possible. While I absolutely love the
Market and all that it entails, the most important job I have
is being a mom to the 4 most perfect daughters. When
things are hectic with the stores, they’re both there to
seamlessly step in and help with homework, chaureffing,
loving and nurturing these beautiful babies. For that, I’m
eternally grateful. I’m ever grateful for their never ending
help and also for the fact that my daughters get to be a
part of all of this. They love to be at the stores and ‘help’
and even create their own products in a line called 4 Peas
in a Pod. When we dreamed up Driftwood Market, I had
no idea the life’s lessons it would help us teach our girls.
Honesty, integrity and resillience are what we strive to
demonstrate every day. We want to show them that hard
work pays off. Worthwhile dreams don’t always come
easy, but with perseverance and grit, anything is possible.”
Driftwood Market, opening early May, will be open 10am
to 7pm Monday through Thursday, 10am to 8pm Friday,
9am to 5pm Saturday and noon to 4pm on Sunday. Learn
more at their website (driftwoodmarket.net) and stop by
to welcome this mother daughter team to Plant Street!
