Coming soon: the plant street market
Beginning in mid-March, area residents and visitors will be able to enjoy
our own indoor market and microbrewery at the upcoming Plant St.
Market. The newly constructed building, which will assist in
extending downtown to the west, stands two stories tall but will
actually be a single-floor building with high, vaulted ceilings. The
exterior features a brick and stucco façade, consistent with many of
downtown’s historic buildings; and will also offer outdoor seating and
dining areas to relax and enjoy the vendors and the scenery of our
historic downtown corridor.
Much of the structure (around 5,000 square feet) is dedicated to a
microbrewery and taproom operated by Crooked Can Brewing Company.
