Erin is truly an amazing young woman in her mid-20’s
that is focused and dedicated to bettering the lives of
individuals thousands of miles away. Watching her face
light up when she speaks of relationships she made and
experiences she had during that first visit, you know where
her heart lies. She has learned so much as a church youth
leader, nanny and diligent business student that she is
going to share with those less fortunate.
In the near future, Erin will be putting together a blog and
website for fundraising for the house project in Zambia.
We are so inspired having Erin as a part of our community
and can’t wait to follow her journey of sharing her special
gifts.
When Erin returned from her trip, she was resolute
about retuning to Livingstone to become a part of the
Kwathu Children’s Home dedication to the childre n
and surrounding community. She has been in regular
communication with Agripa and Jeanette, while continuing
her college studies and her job. Erin has great vision and Kwathu Children’s Home
commitment about how she will contribute and become http://kwathuhome.wordpress.com

She will return to Kwathu in the spring of 2018 with her
close friend Dawn. They will spend a month there, visiting
and solidifying the details for Erin’s lengthy mission trip
in 2019, as she is planning to commit 6-12 months of her
life to that trip. Erin believes whole-heartedly in the good
works that are being done that she not only wants to take
part, she wants to help raise funds.
While studying for a degree in business, she is working
on a plan to purchase real estate in Livingstone so that
she can turn it into a vacation rental. The extra money
Erin earns from that rental property will go to Agripa and
Jeanette, to help with the needs of the Kwathu Children’s
Home. Currently, the children’s home is not supported
by the local government and relies strictly on donations
and committed individuals like Erin. The majority of
