The Blend Winter Booze Guide
For some people alcohol is about partying , for some it ’ s a burden or an addiction , but for me it ’ s culture , taste , and an experience . The more I grow older ( 26 is too close to 30 , dammit ), the more I appreciate good quality alcohol and the rich history behind it . White wine makes me put on a smile which I can ’ t erase , red wine makes me feel like a fancy lord while I ’ m actually a poor student . Beer makes me laugh and go into deep conversation , whisky makes me sleep really well at night , and rum makes me wanna dance . Especially in winter , alcohol serves a great purpose in warming us up and making us feel cozy and social . dark “ Kraken ” rum ( no , they don ’ t sponsor us , yet ) and had a casual conversation about winter and about booze . “ For me alcohol is about enjoying . I really dislike being drunk , I prefer being sharp and enjoying the moment . It ’ s about experiencing the taste .” says Bob , and I couldn ’ t put it better myself . I also sometimes feel like people hurry to get drunk on a low budget and don ’ t appreciate the taste and the experience . But no worries , Bob and I are here to help . We decided to divide this guide into three parts – beer , wine , and spirits , since those are the three main alcohol groups .
