PRISCILA ULLOA
Priscila Ulloa is an associate attorney at SW & L Attorneys in Fargo , specializing in family law . Since joining the firm in 2022 , she has been committed to guiding clients through a wide range of domestic matters , including custody , visitation , contested and uncontested divorces , contempt cases , predicate orders , adoptions , and name changes . Fluent in Spanish , Ulloa has a unique ability to assist the Hispanic community , particularly individuals with limited or no English proficiency , ensuring they feel understood and guided throughout the legal process . Before joining SW & L Attorneys , Ulloa honed her skills by interning for a year and a half at a family law firm in Grand Forks , gaining invaluable hands-on experience in the field .
Ulloa was born and raised in Winnipeg , Manitoba , and is the proud daughter of parents who immigrated from Chile to Canada . Their journey instilled in her a profound appreciation for cultural diversity and the value of hard work . Ulloa earned her bachelor of arts degree , majoring in social science , from the University of Manitoba before pursuing her legal education at the University of North Dakota School of Law . During law school , Ulloa actively served on various student council boards , further fueling her passion for advocacy and leadership .
Ulloa remains deeply involved in the legal community , holding memberships in SBAND and its Family Law , Women Lawyers , and Young Lawyers sections . Ulloa is also a member of the Collaborative Divorce Law Group , Ronald N . Davies American Inns of Court , and will serve as vice president of the Cass County Bar Association in 2025 .
Outside of work , Ulloa enjoys spending time with her family , playing soccer , and taking Latin dance classes .
MARCUS SKONIECZNY
Marcus Skonieczny is an associate attorney at Pearson Christensen PLLP in Grand Forks . He earned his bachelor ’ s degree in accounting from the University of North Dakota ( UND ). He went on to attend the UND School of Law and obtained a dual J . D ./ M . B . A . in December 2020 .
After completing his education , Skonieczny worked at a small law firm in East Grand Forks , Minnesota , where he focused on estate planning , probate , real estate , and business planning . In December 2022 , he joined Pearson Christensen PLLP , where he primarily functions as an assistant city prosecutor for the city of Grand Forks while also expanding in civil practice .
In his personal time , Skonieczny enjoys playing golf , spending quality time with his family , and watching football . He is an active member of his undergraduate fraternity ' s alumni board , currently serving on both the House Corporation Board and the Education Foundation Board .
