IFrom their initial meeting at a friend ’ s 21st , it was clear to all that Hannah and Lachlan were meant to be . “ We were both pretty love-struck straight away ,” Hannah remembers . Lachlan was quick to ask her on a date , quick to arrange the second date , and quick to make Hannah his partner . “ After two dates , Loch went on a six-week trip to Cancun . We messaged almost every day ,” says Hannah . “ When he got home , he was only back for two days before he asked me to be his girlfriend .” Seven years later to the day , Lachlan knew it was time to pop the question . “ It was the day before we went and picked up our puppy , Alfred ,” says Hannah . Naturally , this meant Alfred would play a starring role in the wedding , trotting down the aisle as the pair ’ s ringbearer !

Choosing a dog-friendly and allinclusive venue was important — and this Sunshine Coast hinterland gem ticked every box . “ Hideaway Weddings was just perfect ,” says Hannah . “ Having the reception and ceremony together meant a lot to us , plus there was spectacular scenery and ample options for photos !” The couple can ’ t speak highly enough of the Hideaway team , whose hands-on approach made the wedding day everything Hannah had dreamed of . “ The team went above and beyond ,” she says . “ I couldn ’ t fault a single thing .”
